Our priority at the Speedwell Practice is to be kind, respectful and supportive to each other and our patients always. We aim to provide a high standard of clinical care and provide a service that puts our patients at the heart of everything we do. We aim to promote best practice by encouraging excellent communication amongst our team, creating forums to share learning and promoting professional development in all our staff members.
We encourage evidence-based medicine, and work tirelessly to provide a safe, nurturing and effective environment.
At Speedwell we are continually learning and developing, and aim to adapt to the evolving pace of the NHS. We embrace opportunities to improve clinical and pastoral care for our patients, and work with other practices with our PCN to share best practice in line with current guidelines. We strive to nurture a culture which is innovative and forward looking.
We aim to create a nurturing and compassionate environment for our patients and staff, and show courtesy at all times. We aim to treat everyone fairly and equally, valuing everyone as unique individuals. We aim to be especially supportive to our vulnerable patients and ensure appropriate access to all.
Creating a happy team with a blame free culture is a huge priority. We value the contribution of all our team members and strive to build a mutually supportive environment no matter the role. We encourage autonomy amongst our team, and encourage responsible involvement by our patients. We aim to foster good relationships with our wider healthcare colleagues.
Our team strive to behave with integrity and be accountable for our actions. We aim to be courteous, approachable, friendly and accommodating to all patients and the workforce
Audit and Quality Improvement
We conduct regular audit and quality improvement projects to ensure we regularly review our processes and clinical approaches, and provide a forum for reflection. We aim to meet or exceed the national Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) targets and those set by our governing bodies.
